Red Nose Day 2019

It’s time to be charitable and once again Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa college is all set and excited to raise money for Red Nose day, 2019.

This year we are looking at dressing in non-uniform with one item of red clothing. We kindly ask that children support this charity dressed in red as they choose for a donation of £2.00 to the charity.

Students could also bring cakes, cupcakes and snacks which we will be selling during short break and lunch break on Friday. They could either buy or bake the cupcakes, but should ensure they are nut free and egg free.

In addition, we will also be using learning resources provided by comic relief so that our pupils can learn exactly how the money they are raising will help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people.

The money raised is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries. Last Red Nose Day, schools and nurseries across the UK raised over £5 million to help vulnerable people here and, in the world’s, poorest communities.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you have fun helping GGSK College raise money for Red Nose Day. After all, we couldn’t do it without wonderful people like you.

Have fun!
