To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the martydom of Guru Arjun Dev ji Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa college students were asked to help distribute refreshments to Londoners in Trafalgar Square. As soon as the students arrived they got straight to work by first helping unload the drinks and then setting up the tables. One of the organisers said " As soon as the students arrived we no longer had anything to do, as they quickly started to help out" . An ardass was done 4pm and the studets were ready to start.

The students worked tirlessly for three hours, handing out literature and refreshments. Many people were shocked that drinks were given out free, some even tried to pay and others wanted to contribute to help pay for the service.

All the students enjoyed their day out and felt proud to have had the opportunity to do seva. Have a look at some of the pictures above.
